The School Immersion and Teaching Practice (SITP) is designed to essentially engage student-teachers in developing awareness of their own strengths and weaknesses through constant observation of their classroom teaching, critical reflection and analysis of their learning as an integral part of the PgDE programme. It allows student-teachers to practically apply the theoretical content knowledge acquired in the College into practice in actual classroom situations

Field placement provides students with experiential opportunities to develop and apply their counselling knowledge and skills through group and individual counselling in their schools and other organizations. This will also be an opportunity for students to test their skills and knowledge in the area of teaching and facilitating psycho-educational sessions.
